Last night, Lil Mama made a big splash at the VMAs when she performed in Left Eye's place with TLC. Though her performance had a couple breathless moments (during left eye's "Waterfalls" rap with Drake's "Started From the Bottom" beat mixed in the background), she still kept instep and presented us with the best rendition of the fallen member that viewers have seen.
However, in the wake of Lil Mama and her cast mates' immaculate performance in TLC's bio film, there's been many rumors floating around about the truth to Pebbles, TLC's first creative manager/mentor, role in their faulty contracts that inevitably lead to them going bankrupt at the height of their career. The latest news was that L.A. Reid dropped TLC after Pebbles' negative depiction in the movie. But it was the man himself that hopped on Twitter to let folks know that TLC has not been dropped from Epic Records and he and the girls are life long friends.
Shade much Pebbles?
